ArcaneCon 2026 will be located at 33 Hawley Street, Northampton, MA with support from Northampton Center for the Arts and A.P.E. LTD

This year, ArcaneCon is renting out the community arts space 33 Hawley Street with support from Northampton Center for the Arts and A.P.E. ltd. This allows the convention to be held at a location that is more than twice the size of the last two years that also provides its own parking!
-
33 Hawley is located off of the main strip in Northampton, allowing attendees to still go to their favorite restaurants and stores, but just have to walk five minutes to reach them! The new location is in red, while the old location is marked with a 1.

This new location also allows us to provide many more tables for games spread across two dedicated game spaces!
-
The Main Hall: the convention's main hall is situated in A.P.E. Gallery’s Workroom. This location will feature most of the vendors placed around the perimeter and sponsors along with 20 game tables. This space is 3800sq/ft and has sound insulation to help decrease noise in such a large space but might still be louder than expected since all of the vendors will be around the perimeter in this space!
-
The Side Room: This will be the additional gaming space located in Eli’s Room provided by Northampton Center for the Arts. This space is 1,330sq/ft, slightly smaller than the main room at last year’s church location.
Even though we will be in a new location that is down the road from last year’s space, Tunic Coffee will be on site providing much-needed caffeine boosts for two days of gaming! I am also planning on coordinating with having food trucks on site as well!

Cost: It's important to me to keep this convention affordable for folks, especially those who may be traveling so ArcaneCon 2026 will have an online badge registration at the following prices:
-
Weekend Pass: $40 dollars (plus $3.39 in fees)
-
Single Day Pass: $25 (+ $2.50 in fees)
Badge Registration will go live on May 31st, 2026 at Noon. ArcaneCon will be managed through Tabletop Events this year so everything from game submissions, registration, and your scheduling will be done on that platform.
Game Submissions: Submissions are OPEN! You will receive a discount code for each approved game submitted before May 30th equal to $10 off your badge registration approved per game, up to a maximum of $30 off!
-
This discount is only available for games submitted before May 30th.
-
You will receive your discount code before event registration goes live on May 31st.
Games submitted after May 30th will not receive the discount, so get those game submissions in!
The game schedule will be laid out in three scheduled session on both days:
-
9:00am - 12:00pm (three hours)
-
1:00pm - 5:00pm (four hours)
-
6:00 - 10:00pm (four hours)
People running games do not have to use the full time to run their submitted games, and other shorter form games may choose to run multiple sessions within the allotted time slot. You will be able to request your preferred game time.
What kind of game should I submit? ArcaneCon is a celebration of underappreciated, old-school, forgotten, indie, and/or compelling new games, including those that are unique or inspired by older games! Please consider submitting a game that you’ve always wanted to run but never could get a group together for! Or consider games that are not typically easily accessible to play in a game store! I also strongly encourage play-testing games or running different formats/styles of popular games! Be creative and share your passion! This is the place to find people to play with! All games are subject to approval! If you have any questions about running a game, please email me!
Badge Sales: badges for ArcaneCon will go live on May 31st, 2026 at noon. You will be notified when it happens! Once you have your badge, you will be able to sign up for games!
Online Game Sign-ups!: When game tickets go live, everyone with an event badge will be able to sign up for a game.
In-Person Game Sign-ups: I have brought back the option for people to sign up in person this year after receiving a significant amount of feedback encouraging it. So for this year, people submitting games will have all games submitted with a ¼ of their submitted player max reserved for in-person sign ups.
-
For example, if you submit a game with a cap of 8 players, then 6 game tickets will be available for online sign ups when they go live, and the remaining 2 will be set aside for in-person sign ups the day of the game. So - if a game starts at 1:00pm on Saturday, then the in-person game sign up will open at 12:00pm on Saturday
Vendors: All the vendor spaces are already full! Wow! All the vendors are fantastic and I am extremely excited to host them! I strive to maintain a place for creative folks to share their work with others, with a curated selection of vendors that fit very well with the vibes I'm working towards. There is something for everyone here! No AI huskers or 3D-print farm plastic waste-makers selling the same thing as others! All original games, art, crafts, and more!
-
Vendor Wait-list: If you are curious to get on the wait-list, please send me an email and I will add you to it!
Finally, as I stated earlier, I am using a new platform for managing ArcaneCon this year so I'm learning how to use Tabletop events as I go! So If something doesn’t make sense on the website or If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out!
